MOOSE WORKSHOP AT ETH ZURICH 2018

We are pleased to announce a workshop on the Multiphysics Object-Oriented Simulation Environment (MOOSE, http://mooseframework.org/)
to be given by the MOOSE development team at ETH Zurich and organized by the GEG Group, from March 19-22, 2018.

MOOSE is a finite-element, multiphysics framework that provides a high-level interface to some of the most sophisticated nonlinear solver technology
on the planet. MOOSE is open source, allowing you to create your own application, with over 30 different MOOSE-based applications created by
teams from all over the world.

Modules

MOOSE includes the following set of community developed physics modules:
– Solid Mechanics
– Heat Conduction
– Porous Flow (Non-isothermal multiphase, multicomponent flow and (reactive) transport in porous and fractured media)
– Navier Stokes Flow
– Phase Field
– Chemical Reactions
– Contact Mechanics
– XFEM

Location

The workshop will be held at the Hoenggerberg campus of ETHZ in the Siemens Auditorium, which can be found on the map here.

The campus can be reached with a shuttle bus (duration 20 mins) from the campus in the city center.
