The XRCT system comes with its dedicated MicroCT Analysis Software from SCANCO Medical AG. This software offers graphical user interface for measurement, evaluation, visualization, and data management.

In addition, further image processing tasks can be performed using the PerGeos software with the Petrophysics extension from the Thermo Fisher Scientific. The analysis capabilities in PerGeos Software offer segmentation and porosity calculation, pore-space characterization, grains size and shape analysis, CT image assembly and volumetric alignment, fracture dip and strike analysis, and calculations of rock permeability, electrical resistivity, thermal conductivity, and molecular diffusivity.
