Research Interests
My research interests comprise the modeling of geothermal reservoir systems under consideration of different sources of uncertainty, e.g. petrophysical or geological uncertainties. Thus the modeling approach I follow does not only comprise simulation of the heat- and mass transfer, but also generating a geological model from different types of input data. I am interested in the question of how the assessment of the geothermal potential of a region is affected by uncertainties in the modeling process.
