Research Interests
My research interests are in reactive transport of single/multi-phase fluid in natural sandstones. I focus on CO2-based fluid-rock reactions and their consequences on rock properties (such as permeability) of multi-mineral sandstones under geothermal reservoir conditions. I study the accessible surface area (ASA) and the effective surface area (ESA) evolution of each mineral during rock-fluid reaction using experimetnal and numerical approaches. I also examine the changes in the effective stress law for permeability before and after mineral dissolution.
