Research Interests
My research areas comprise of reservoir characterisation, heat transfer and fluid flow modeling in geothermal systems, with special interest in enhanced and super-hot/super-critical geothermal systems. Recent work includes geothermal potential assessment in super-hot geothermal fields in Mexico using multi-disciplinary approach integrating geology, geophysics, and geochemistry. My research area further extends to laboratory-scale geomechanical and petrophysical investigations in rocks, with an objective to increase accuracy in prediction of thermal, mechanical and hydraulic behaviour in the subsurface.
