My research areas comprise numerical modeling and experimental investigations of deep geothermal systems, integrating different types of geological, geophysical, and geochemical datasets. My latest work includes modeling of heat transfer and fluid flow in geothermal reservoirs in active magmatic systems. Previously, I had worked in numerous laboratory investigations for the geomechanical and petrophysical characterization of rocks. I am interested in developing methods/ workflows for increasing accuracy and confidence in numerical predictions. My research interests include experimental investigations and THM modeling in enhanced geothermal systems and superhot/supercritical geothermal systems.
