Research Interests
My main research interest is understanding, describing and modeling flow and transport processes in porous and fractured reservoirs. I have focused on studying the impact of salt precipitation on flow in fractured media (porosity and permeability alteration) during supercritical carbon dioxide injections into deep aquifers, which can also be applied to miscible enhanced oil recovery or carbon storage.
